Steps

  1. Peel the green plantains using a knife or vegetable peeler and cut them into thin slices (about 2-3 mm thick).
  2. In a large skillet or deep frying pan, heat the coconut oil over medium heat until hot.
  3. Carefully add the plantain slices to the hot oil in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.
  4. Fry the plantain slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Using a slotted spoon, remove the chips from the oil and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
