- Pork belly - 100 grams, diced
- Chorizo - 50 grams, sliced
- Potato - 200 grams, peeled and diced
- Turnip greens (or kale) - 100 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, chopped
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable broth - 500 milliliters
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the diced pork belly until browned.
- Add the sliced chorizo and continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the chorizo releases its oils.
- Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the diced potatoes and pour in the vegetable broth. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Add the chopped turnip greens (or kale) to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving.
