Ingredients

  • Water - 500 ml
  • Espresso coffee - 30 g (about 2 shots)
  • Whole milk - 250 ml
  • Sugar - 2 teaspoons (optional)
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. Boil 500 ml of water in a kettle or saucepan.
  2. Once boiling, prepare 2 shots of espresso using the coffee grounds and espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat 250 ml of whole milk over medium heat until steaming, but do not let it boil.
  4. If desired, add sugar and cinnamon to the milk and stir until dissolved.
  5. Pour the hot espresso into two cups, then add the steamed milk, filling each cup to your preference.
  6. Gently stir to combine and adjust sweetness if necessary.
