  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2 small, thinly sliced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, grated Manchego cheese, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing and drying the lettuce leaves.
  5. Once cooked, let the patties rest for a couple of minutes before assembling.
  6. To assemble, place a beef patty on a lettuce leaf, top with tomato slices, red onion, and chopped parsley. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
