- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large (for wrapping)
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2 small, thinly sliced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, grated Manchego cheese, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by washing and drying the lettuce leaves.
- Once cooked, let the patties rest for a couple of minutes before assembling.
- To assemble, place a beef patty on a lettuce leaf, top with tomato slices, red onion, and chopped parsley. Wrap the lettuce around the filling and serve immediately.
