Ingredients

  • Ibérico ham - 100 grams, chopped
  • Ground beef (80% lean) - 250 grams
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, finely chopped
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Baby spinach - 50 grams
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped Ibérico ham, parsley, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape them into burger patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare your toppings by slicing the tomato and avocado.
  5. Once the burgers are done, let them rest for a couple of minutes before assembling.
  6. On a plate, layer the baby spinach, followed by the burger patty, slices of tomato, and avocado. Serve immediately.
