- Sliced ham (preferably Serrano) - 200g
- Ground beef (80% lean) - 200g
- Garlic powder - 1 tsp
- Paprika - 1 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Olive oil - 1 tbsp
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Avocado - 1/2, sliced
- Cheese (optional, like Manchego) - 50g
Steps
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
- Form the mixture into two equal patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until well browned and cooked through.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing and drying the lettuce leaves.
- Once the patties are done, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, and top with sliced ham, tomato, avocado, and cheese if using.
- Wrap the lettuce around the fillings and serve immediately.
