  • Sliced ham (preferably Serrano) - 200g
  • Ground beef (80% lean) - 200g
  • Garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • Paprika - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Avocado - 1/2, sliced
  • Cheese (optional, like Manchego) - 50g

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, mix the ground beef with garlic powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two equal patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side until well browned and cooked through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the lettuce wraps by rinsing and drying the lettuce leaves.
  5. Once the patties are done, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, and top with sliced ham, tomato, avocado, and cheese if using.
  6. Wrap the lettuce around the fillings and serve immediately.
