  • Garlic cloves - 2, minced
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2, halved
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 1/2, finely chopped
  • Lettuce leaves - 2

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the ground lamb, minced garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties, about 1.5 cm thick.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired doneness.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the yogurt sauce by combining Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and chopped cucumber in a small bowl. Mix well and set aside.
  5. Toast the burger buns lightly on the skillet or in a toaster.
  6. Assemble the burgers by placing a lamb patty on the bottom half of each bun, topping with lettuce leaves and a generous spoonful of the yogurt sauce. Close with the top half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy your Burguer de Cordero!
