- Canned tuna (in olive oil) - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
- Red onion (finely chopped) - 50 grams
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoons
- Lettuce leaves (for serving) - 4 large leaves
- Tomato (sliced) - 1 medium
- Avocado (sliced) - 1 small
Steps
- Drain the canned tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.
- Add the almond flour, egg, chopped parsley, minced garlic, chopped red onion, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
- Mix all the ingredients until well combined, and form two patties with your hands.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the tuna patties to the skillet.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
- Once cooked, place each patty on a lettuce leaf, topped with slices of tomato and avocado.
