Ingredients

  • Canned tuna (in olive oil) - 200 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Red onion (finely chopped) - 50 grams
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Olive oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoons
  • Lettuce leaves (for serving) - 4 large leaves
  • Tomato (sliced) - 1 medium
  • Avocado (sliced) - 1 small

Steps

  1. Drain the canned tuna and place it in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the almond flour, egg, chopped parsley, minced garlic, chopped red onion, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bowl.
  3. Mix all the ingredients until well combined, and form two patties with your hands.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the tuna patties to the skillet.
  5. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  6. Once cooked, place each patty on a lettuce leaf, topped with slices of tomato and avocado.
