- Active dry yeast - 7 grams

- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
- Chopped fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix until a rough dough forms, then knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Once risen, punch down the dough and knead in the chopped parsley.
- Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Cover the loaf with a cloth and let it rise for another 20 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Bake the loaf for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing.
