  • Kosher bread rolls - 2
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon wedges - for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, cornstarch, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg until well mixed.
  3. Dredge the squid rings first in the flour mixture, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
  4. Heat olive oil in a deep pan over medium heat for frying.
  5. Fry the squid rings in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
