Ingredients

  • Seitan - 200 grams

  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Baguette - 1 (about 250 grams)
  • Roasted red peppers - 100 grams
  • Fresh arugula - 50 grams
  • Vegan mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Slice the seitan into thin strips.
  2. In a bowl, combine olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the seitan strips and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated seitan for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown.
  4. While the seitan is cooking, cut the baguette in half and lightly toast it if desired.
