- Manchego cheese - 100 grams, thinly sliced

- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Slice the chorizo sausage into 1/4-inch thick rounds.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced chorizo to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and slightly crispy, stirring occasionally.
- While the chorizo cooks, slice the baguette in half lengthwise and lightly toast it if desired.
- Once the chorizo is cooked, remove it from the heat and set aside.
- On the bottom half of the toasted baguette, layer the cooked chorizo, followed by the sliced Manchego cheese.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley and red pepper flakes over the top, then season with salt and black pepper to taste.
