Ingredients

  • Beef steak (sirloin or flank) - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the beef steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it, ensuring the steak is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to overnight for enhanced flavor.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off.
  4. Grill the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired level of doneness is reached.
  5. Remove the steak from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
  6. Slice the steak against the grain and serve, garnished with fresh parsley.
