Ingredients

  • Chorizo sausage - 100 grams
  • Salami slices - 100 grams
  • Pickled gherkins - 4 medium
  • Kalamata olives - 8 whole
  • Cherry tomatoes - 4 whole
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams, cut into cubes
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Slice the chorizo and salami into bite-sized pieces.
  2. On a skewer, thread one piece of chorizo, followed by a pickled gherkin, a cherry tomato, a cube of cheddar cheese, and a salami slice. Repeat until the skewer is filled, leaving some space at the ends.
  3. Repeat step 2 for the second skewer.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil and smoked paprika.
  5. Brush the skewers with the paprika olive oil mixture.
  6. Heat a grill pan over medium heat and grill the skewers for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the meats are slightly crispy and the cheese begins to melt.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
