- Canned tuna - 200 grams, drained
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons for frying
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained canned tuna, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined and form into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
- Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them.
- Cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
- Transfer the cooked meatballs to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve the albondigas warm, optionally with a side of your favorite dipping sauce.
