  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the drained canned tuna, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined and form into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Once the oil is hot, add the meatballs to the skillet, making sure not to overcrowd them.
  5. Cook the meatballs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Transfer the cooked meatballs to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
  7. Serve the albondigas warm, optionally with a side of your favorite dipping sauce.
