Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 15 grams, chopped
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Red onion - 1/4 medium, finely chopped
  • Cilantro - 10 grams, chopped
  • Lime juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Avocado - 1 small, sliced

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into two patties, ensuring they are evenly shaped.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through.
  4. While the patties are cooking, prepare the salsa by combining the diced tomato, finely chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, and lime juice in a small bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
  6. To assemble, place each patty on a plate, top with the fresh salsa, and serve with sliced avocado on the side.
