Ingredients
- Warka pastry sheets - 2
- Canned tuna in olive oil - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Capers, drained - 1 tablespoon
- Eggs - 2 large
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon wedges - for serving
Steps
- In a bowl, combine the canned tuna, chopped parsley, capers, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create the filling.
- Lay one warka pastry sheet on a clean surface and place half of the tuna mixture in the center of the sheet.
- Create a small well in the center of the filling and crack an egg into the well.
- Fold the pastry over to enclose the filling and egg, creating a triangle shape. Seal the edges by pressing them together.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Carefully place the brik in the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Repeat the process with the second pastry sheet and remaining filling.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges on the side.
