- Sugar - 75 grams
- Eggs - 1 large
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- All-purpose flour - 30 grams
- Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Powdered sugar (for dusting) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, combine the ground almonds, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Grease a small tart pan (about 20 cm) with butter and sprinkle a little flour to prevent sticking.
- Pour the almond mixture into the prepared tart pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
