Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, softened butter, and powdered sugar. Mix until crumbly.
  3. Add the egg and a pinch of salt to the mixture and knead until a smooth dough forms.
  4. Press the dough into a 20 cm tart pan evenly across the bottom and up the sides. Prick the bottom with a fork.
  5. In another bowl, mix the almond flour, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
  6. Spread the almond mixture over the crust evenly.
  7. Top with sliced almonds for added texture and decoration.
