- Cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon

- Black pepper - to taste
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 300 ml
Steps
- In a tajine or a heavy-bottomed pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

- Add the paprika, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper, mixing well to combine the spices with the vegetables.
- Incorporate the octopus pieces into the pot, stirring to coat them with the spice mixture.
- Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Cover the tajine with its lid and let it cook for about 40 minutes, or until the octopus is tender.
