- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Vegetable broth - 200 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a tajine or a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add sliced red onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add diced orange bell pepper to the skillet and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Mix in the drained chickpeas, cumin, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
