- Carrot - 1 medium, sliced
- Zucchini - 1 medium, sliced
- Chickpeas - 100 grams, canned or cooked
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable broth - 250 milliliters
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste

Steps
- In a large tajine or pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the turnips, carrots, and zucchini to the pot, stirring to combine with the onion and garlic. Cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the vegetables to soften slightly.
- Stir in the chickpeas, ground cumin, ground coriander, cinnamon, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure the spices coat the vegetables evenly.
- Pour in the vegetable broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer. Cover the pot with a lid and let it cook for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the turnips and carrots are tender.
- Once cooked, check the seasoning and adjust if necessary. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro.
