  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh mint leaves - 10 leaves, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Toasted almond slivers - 30 grams

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a medium-sized tajine or skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sliced red onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground cinnamon and cumin, stirring to combine with the onion and garlic mixture.
  5. Add the cubed cantaloupe and honeydew melon, gently folding them into the spice mixture.
