  • Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Almonds - 30 grams, chopped
  • Water - 200 milliliters

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, soak the dried apricots, figs, and dates in warm water for about 10 minutes to soften them.
  2. In a medium-sized tajine or saucepan, combine the soaked fruits (drained), orange juice, lemon juice, honey, cinnamon powder, and water.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
  4. Reduce the heat to low, cover the tajine, and let it cook for about 15 minutes until the fruits are tender and have absorbed the flavors.
  5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before serving.
