Steps

  1. Heat the olive oil in a small tajine or a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped red onion and sauté for about 5 minutes until it becomes translucent.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the ground cinnamon, ginger, cumin, and chili flakes, stirring to combine, and cook for 1 minute to toast the spices.
