Ingredients

  • Medjool dates - 8 pieces
  • Goat cheese - 60 grams
  • Chopped walnuts - 30 grams
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh mint leaves - 4 leaves, finely chopped
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Black pepper - a pinch

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Carefully make a slit along the length of each Medjool date and remove the pit.
  3. In a bowl, mix the goat cheese, chopped walnuts, honey, ground cinnamon, chopped mint leaves, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  4. Stuff each date with the cheese mixture, pressing gently to ensure they are filled.
  5. Place the stuffed dates on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is warm and slightly melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a minute before serving.
