- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Red onion - 1 medium, thinly sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
- Bell pepper - 1 small, sliced
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
- Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Lemon - 1, cut into wedges
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat and add the sliced red onion. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add ground lamb to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Stir in cumin, coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the lamb is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Top the sauce with the cooked lamb mixture, followed by sliced bell pepper and halved cherry tomatoes.
- Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the toppings and place the pizza in the oven.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh cilantro, and serve with lemon wedges.
