  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix the harissa paste, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  3. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  5. Grill the chicken thighs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F) and the chicken is nicely charred.
