Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  3. Add the tofu slices to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the marinated tofu slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden and have grill marks.
  6. Remove the tofu from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
