- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander - 1 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess water, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
- Add the tofu slices to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated tofu slices for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden and have grill marks.
- Remove the tofu from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
