Ingredients

  • Beef chuck - 500 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Water - 1 cup

Steps

  1. Cut the beef chuck into 2-inch cubes and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and coat them well. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  4. Preheat your barbecue grill or oven to medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated beef onto skewers, leaving some space between each piece.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. In a small pot, combine the remaining marinade, lemon juice, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Serve the grilled beef with the sauce drizzled on top and garnish with chopped parsley.
