Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water for 30 minutes if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
