Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Smoked paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Black pepper - ½ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, ground cumin, ground coriander, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the soaked skewers, leaving a bit of space between each piece.
  5. Grill the kebabs for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with your choice of sides.
