- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
- Cayenne pepper - 1/4 teaspoon (adjust to taste)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
- Lemon - 1, cut into wedges (for serving)
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained and rinsed chickpeas with olive oil, ground cumin, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss the chickpeas until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, shaking the baking sheet halfway through the cooking time.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
