Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 1 large head
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Paprika - 1 tablespoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Turmeric - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh cilantro - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, juiced

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem to create a flat base.
  3. Slice the cauliflower head into 1-inch thick steaks, making about 2-3 steaks.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, paprika, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric, cinnamon, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  5. Brush the marinade generously over both sides of the cauliflower steaks.
  6. Place the cauliflower steaks on the grill and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are tender and have grill marks.
  7. Remove the cauliflower steaks from the grill and drizzle with fresh lemon juice and sprinkle with chopped cilantro before serving.
