Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Skewers - 4 (soaked in water if wooden)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, black pepper, chopped parsley, and lemon juice to create a marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated, and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes (or up to 2 hours in the fridge for more flavor).
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated beef cubes onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece for even cooking.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked to your desired level of doneness.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
