- Bell pepper, sliced - 50 grams
- Red onion, sliced - 50 grams
- Zucchini, sliced - 50 grams
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 10 grams
Steps
- In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix the ingredients until a dough forms, then knead on a floured surface for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a round shape, about 1 cm thick.
- Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
