Steps
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch for 3-4 minutes until vibrant green and tender-crisp.
- Drain the broccoli and immediately plunge it into an ice bath to stop the cooking process. Let it cool for a few minutes and then drain again.
