- Walnuts - 30 grams
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Orange zest - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Chopped pistachios (for garnish) - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Slice the Medjool dates lengthwise and remove the pits.
- In a bowl, mix the almonds, walnuts, honey, cinnamon powder, orange zest, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- Stuff each date with the nut mixture, pressing gently to close them.
- Place the stuffed dates on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes until the nuts are toasted and the dates are warm.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
