Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium
  • Yellow bell pepper - 1 medium
  • Garlic - 4 cloves
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, for juice

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Cut the red and yellow bell peppers in half, remove the seeds, and place them on a baking sheet.
  3. Peel the garlic cloves and place them on the baking sheet with the peppers.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the peppers and garlic, then sprinkle with cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Roast in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the peppers are tender and slightly charred.
  6. While the peppers are roasting, roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Once the peppers are done roasting, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.
  9. Slice the roasted peppers and spread them evenly over the pizza dough, along with the roasted garlic.
  10. Bake the pizza in the oven for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  11. Remove the pizza from the oven, drizzle with fresh lemon juice, and sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
