  • Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Chopped almonds - 30 grams
  • Raisins - 30 grams
  • Fresh mint leaves - for garnish

Steps

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, coconut milk, water, honey, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract, and salt.
  3. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and cover the saucepan.
  4. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is tender and the mixture has thickened.
  5. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it sit for 5 minutes to absorb any remaining liquid.
  6. Stir in the chopped almonds and raisins, mixing well.
