Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 100 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Warm water - 100 ml
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Honey - 2 tablespoons
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Butter - 20 grams, melted
  • Chopped almonds - 30 grams

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, almond flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix well.
  2. Create a well in the center and add the egg and warm water. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts. Roll each part into a thin circle, about 20 cm in diameter.
  5. Brush each circle with melted butter and sprinkle a mixture of honey, cinnamon, and chopped almonds on top.
  6. Fold the dough circle into quarters, then shape it into a spiral or coil, tucking the edges in.
  7. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook each coil for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the skillet, drizzle with more honey if desired, and serve warm.
