  • Cooked chicken breast, shredded - 150 grams
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Carrot, grated - 1 medium (about 60 grams)
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Chickpeas, cooked - 100 grams
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Feta cheese, crumbled - 50 grams
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the shredded chicken, grated carrot, cumin, cinnamon, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through and well combined.
  4. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough.
  6. Distribute the chicken mixture over the sauce, followed by sprinkling cooked chickpeas and crumbled feta cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Once baked, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
