- Onion, finely chopped - 1 medium (about 100 grams)
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Carrot, grated - 1 medium (about 60 grams)
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Chickpeas, cooked - 100 grams
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
- Feta cheese, crumbled - 50 grams
- Tomato sauce - 100 grams
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the shredded chicken, grated carrot, cumin, cinnamon, turmeric, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through and well combined.
- Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough.
- Distribute the chicken mixture over the sauce, followed by sprinkling cooked chickpeas and crumbled feta cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Once baked, remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before slicing and serving.
