Ingredients

  • Semolina - 100 grams
  • Sugar - 50 grams
  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Butter - 30 grams
  • Orange blossom water - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Caramel sauce - for drizzling
  • Chopped almonds - 20 grams (for garnish)

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, bring the milk to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  2. Add the sugar and a pinch of salt, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Gradually whisk in the semolina, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  4. Cook the mixture for about 10-15 minutes, until it thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the butter and orange blossom water until fully incorporated.
  6. Pour the mixture into serving dishes and let it cool for at least 15 minutes until set.
  7. Once cooled, drizzle with caramel sauce and garnish with chopped almonds before serving.
