  • Ground lamb - 150 grams
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Zucchini - 1 medium, diced
  • Tomato - 1 large, diced
  • Ras el Hanout spice blend - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Harissa paste - 1 tablespoon (optional for heat)
  • Cheese (mozzarella or a Moroccan cheese) - 100 grams, shredded
  • Fresh cilantro - a handful, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until soft.
  3. Add ground lamb to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned.
  4. Stir in the diced bell pepper, zucchini, and tomato. Sprinkle in the Ras el Hanout, cumin, salt, black pepper, and harissa paste. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone. Spread the lamb and vegetable mixture evenly over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top of the mixture.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped fresh cilantro before slicing.
