Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Onions - 2 medium-sized, thinly sliced

  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and salt, and cook for about 15 minutes until they are soft and translucent.
  3. Sprinkle the brown sugar, black pepper, cumin, and paprika over the onions. Stir well and continue to cook for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized and golden brown.
  4. While the onions are caramelizing, roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer the rolled dough to the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Spread the caramelized onions evenly over the pizza dough.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the caramelized onions.
  7. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Sprinkle the fresh parsley on top before slicing and serving.
