- Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
- Black olives - 30 grams, pitted and sliced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add the olive oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a round shape on a floured surface.
- Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the chopped herbs evenly over the dough. Layer with sliced bell pepper, red onion, and tomato.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, followed by black olives.
- Season with paprika, cumin, and black pepper before placing in the oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
