Ingredients

  • Mixed herbs (parsley, cilantro, mint) - 30 grams, chopped
  • Bell pepper - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Red onion - 30 grams, thinly sliced
  • Tomato - 100 grams, sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Black olives - 30 grams, pitted and sliced
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the warm water and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add the olive oil, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  5. Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a round shape on a floured surface.
  6. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  7. Spread the chopped herbs evenly over the dough. Layer with sliced bell pepper, red onion, and tomato.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top, followed by black olives.
  9. Season with paprika, cumin, and black pepper before placing in the oven.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve hot.
