Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Mixed seafood (shrimp, mussels, calamari) - 200 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1/2, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, zested and juiced

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a pan over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the mixed seafood to the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes until just cooked through. Season with salt, black pepper, and half of the lemon juice. Remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the pizza base, leaving a small border for the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the sauce, followed by the sautéed seafood mixture, sliced red bell pepper, and red onion.
  7. Top the pizza with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Once baked, remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley, lemon zest, and the remaining lemon juice before slicing.
