Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh mushrooms (button or cremini) - 150 grams, sliced
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
  • Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic and sliced onion until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet, followed by the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  5. Spread the sautéed mushroom mixture evenly over the dough.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the mushrooms and then add the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
