- Pizza dough - 250 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh mushrooms (button or cremini) - 150 grams, sliced
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic and sliced onion until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet, followed by the cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
- Spread the sautéed mushroom mixture evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the mushrooms and then add the grated Parmesan cheese on top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
