Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Carrots - 200 grams, grated
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Chili flakes - optional, to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic, grated carrots, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the carrots are soft. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Spread the carrot mixture evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the carrot mixture.
  7. If desired, add chili flakes for extra heat.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, let it cool slightly, then slice and serve hot.
