- Black olives - 50 grams, sliced
- Bell pepper - 50 grams, diced
- Onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh parsley - 10 grams, chopped
Steps
- In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add the yeast mixture and olive oil.
- Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out to fit a baking tray or pizza stone.
- Transfer the rolled dough to the baking tray and spread a thin layer of olive oil on top.
- Sprinkle the mixed cheese evenly over the dough, then layer with sliced bell pepper, onion, and black olives.
- Season the toppings with paprika, cumin, oregano, and chopped parsley.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the crust is golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve hot.
